Who runs it

easiapiai.com is run by the owner of easiapiai.com. The site has no email address: for any privacy request, use the form at the end of this page.

What is stored, and why

Visit log. Each page request is logged with its time, address on this site, your IP address, country, browser name and referring page, to count visitors and stop abuse. IP addresses are erased after 31 days; the remaining counts are kept.

Accounts (only if you create one to write reviews): your nickname and a one-way scrypt hash of your password. That is all: the password itself is never stored, and there is no email, no real name and no sign-up date. Signing in sets two cookies, and nothing else on this site sets any: one keeps you signed in for 30 days, the other holds only your nickname so each page's header can show it.

Reviews: what you write, your star rating, the seller, the model if you name it, and the date. Approved reviews are public, shown with your nickname.

Anti-abuse counters: to limit sign-ups and wrong passwords, a keyed, one-way code derived from your IP address (not the address itself) is kept for 24 hours.

The MCP server and the price API log the same request data as pages.

Legal basis

The visit log and anti-abuse counters rest on legitimate interest: running a public site securely. Accounts and reviews rest on your request to have them (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).

Who else handles it

The site is hosted by Hetzner Online (Germany) and reaches you through Cloudflare, which handles every request in transit. Nothing is sold or shared with anyone else.
